Elisha H. Groves : ウィキペディア英語版 | Elisha H. Groves Elisha H. Groves (1797–1867), at times misidentified as Elisha B. Groves, was a 19th-century mid-level leader in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and a member of the first Utah Territorial Legislature. Groves joined the LDS Church in the early 1830s and was involved in missionary work in Kentucky, Tennessee and Missouri. He served as a missionary with Morris Phelps in Calhoun County, Illinois in 1834, where they baptized 16 people.〔Marlene C. Kettley, Arnold K. Garr and Craig K.
